JESUS Christ previously spoke at the worldly level having said "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her" (http://0www.20m.com/index.html) then had stooped down again and was writing in the dust on the floor of the Temple Courts (http://0www.20m.com/jesusjohn8:8.html).
JESUS Christ was now in the following verse speaking at a Higher Level:

Jesus had "raised Himself up" meaning [full of Higher Level Joy, to be "elated"!

A Person can obey the Law and for as long as being innocent the Person is innocent, legal, fair, and just.
