JESUS Christ continues speaking after His previous verse when He said "I am He who testifies about Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies about Me".
John 8:19 New International Version "Then they asked him, 'Where is your father?' 'You do not know me or my Father,' Jesus replied. 'If you knew me, you would know my Father also' ";

Just as it is hard for secular hard workers of hands to remember dreams, it is difficult to "remember" or even to pay attention after a hard Day's work when ready for recuperation hence hardly able to "appreciate", also in lower levels amidst confusions it is relatively harded to "appreciate" JESUS Christ Exemplar Save if JESUS Sent You on such a Mission

If You have faith in a boss that merely opted to favor worldliness [while better opportunities exist], then able with little faith to do as written "Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. It meant if that "Person" discovered a UFO containing very important equipment and vital information, that "Person" was not to declare the truth to the Government, if to report then to such as write a memo saying "I found some important things" [without stating "UFO"] and the Government might send the memo such as to one of many lost and found departments.
Secular has believed secular, as if the many other Proofs don't count, they do count, they are Proofs. Governments with so much Peace are starting more than ever to consider Best Improving, hence considering more and more: Best For All.
Few are Chosen, though see above "Survey" reference since Many Will Be Gathered For Final End Time: PROOF. Many don't opt to believe these values since against anything that rocks their boats, such as against Daily drug usage, and such as against shooting People, and similarly [though conditions may apply] about selfishly in works to feed their own census families [instead of Best For All ("conditions may apply")]. The Work of JESUS Christ Exemplar Best For All is actual JESUS Christ's Words Broadcasting.
