John 8:3 Formula: "The scribes and Pharisees, however," = "brought to Him" [JESUS Christ] "a woman caught in adultery." x "They made her stand before them".
It’s "difficult in a picture like this to get a sense for the size", "the long Western Wall of the Temple Mount was 1590 feet long (the length of about 4.5 football fields). The "Temple Courts" comparison to "Carolina Panthers Stadium" aka "Bank of America Stadium" finds the latter is merely "398 feet long" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_of_America_Stadium).
Pulpit Commentary explains how absurd and "hideous" the scene was, as the "confusion" of the "scribes and Pharisees" noisily angrily reveled [having opted opposite of Heavenly] in their "ill-considered plot" (https://biblehub.com/john/8-3.htm).

How can a Person be "pure in heart"?, the answer is in the previous (Matthew 12:34 and Matthew 5:8).

"When a man sins against his neighbor and is required to take an oath, and he comes to take an oath before Your altar in this temple, then may You hear from heaven and act. The word "Hebrew" fits. About the word "condemning", it is what the confused "scribes and Pharisees" did; as written in Isaiah 29:13 "Therefore the Lord said: 'These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men.' ".
As JESUS Christ said above, be "pure in heart". And
JESUS Christ said in Matthew 6:5 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward". And in the above "John 8:3" the "Temple Courts" were Gigantic in size for to hold All the People [per se], much more a spectacle than merely boastfully being "seen" "on the street corners".
