JESUS Christ in the previous Sermon explained about Himself for their sakes (https://biblehub.com/john/8-39.htm), and also about them ..."If you were Abraham's children, you would do what Abraham did" (ibid.).

John 8:40 Contemporary English Version "Instead, you want to kill me for telling you the truth that God gave me. Abraham never did anything like that" (https://biblehub.com/john/8-40.htm).

 John 8:40 Formula "Instead, you want to kill" = "me for telling you the truth that God gave me." x "Abraham" ["never did anything like that", rather than a negative (explained in Sermons in this Series)] told "you the truth" too.

JESUS Christ is not in worldly "want", as written in Psalm 23:1 New King James Version "A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want".

JESUS Christ Spirit also indicates this is about their pattern of not being brave for the Creator's Righteous Faith Best For All, "Instead" in previous verses they were asking each other [so if interrogated they might opt to blame another person as the source of such "kill" info (reference: https://biblehub.com/topical/c/conspirators.htm)]: and currently it happens every day.

JESUS Christ in the 2nd [New] Testament told the First Commandment, and fitting the above stated killers is full repentance, Baptism, and including to live with as JESUS Christ also stated in Mark 12:31 "And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.".

It did not say ignor "your neighbor", nor "want" to "blame" "your neighbor", nor fight "your neighbor", nor wage [as in root of all evils (https://biblehub.com/1_timothy/6-10.htm), wages of sin (https://biblehub.com/romans/6-23.htm)] wars against "your neighbor", nor overly tempt others to stray.

As written in recent Sermons "JESUS Christ "invites us to make Heaven On Earth with JESUS Christ UN 5 Pennies Law With System minus mines, bombs, WMDs, and other haphazards.".

JESUS Christ is aware of how beaurcracy has intimidated the silent majority (not so silent all the time: see above) and what beaurcracy did in the past and currently and as much as in the future, about promoting murderers, though in the temporary (rather yesterday's Sermon for to make "Heaven On Earth" with a "hint" a type of Proof see above "Definitions" "JIA").

Historically secular worldly beaurcracy has been loaded "with persecutions" ["with persecutions" is stated here and is stated below in an opposite way].

Examples include many poor and unable to work, many can't afford to work for a living [begging for food, unable to qualify for a place to rent with a steady income, expected to pay for mailing address, phone, utilities, maintenance, transportation, resumes, appearing for interviews with other candidates,...], many are fired [or let go] as though for no reason such as downsizing hence having to move out [interrupting lenders' income from loans hence insurance risks that need better handled ("5 Pennies Law With System" continuous improvement),...], many can't afford to buy or rent uniforms required for the job or such as paint brushes or other tools, and many have been stuck in cliche in "dead end jobs".

With bold font added, as written in Ecclesiastes 5:8 "Don’t be surprised if you see a poor person being oppressed by the powerful and if justice is being miscarried throughout the land. For every official is under orders from higher up, and matters of justice get lost in red tape and bureaucracy". Rather pertinent is as written in Mark 10 (at https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/nt/mark/10?lang=eng):

"29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,

30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first." So, if to leave "house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, [or wife" (previous "note")], or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,"

to "receive an hundredfold now in this time" [in the census, rather than repeat in purgatory or worse], "houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands," [though] "with persecutions"; and in the world to come eternal life".
