John 8:52 New Living Translation "The people said, 'Now we know you are possessed by a demon. Even Abraham and the prophets died, but you say, ‘Anyone who obeys my teaching will never die!’ ' ",
but the naysayer "people" betray themselves with their own words, as written defining "a demon!", means "by extension a deity" hence that is what the accusers worship (https://biblehub.com/john/8-52.htm)!

JESUS Christ is aware people on TV for instance have disagreed on points, such as about Baptism, such as referencing a person on a cross when JESUS Christ was on a cross. JESUS Christ therefore is for Christian Immersion Baptism for the sakes of the fully repentant [from "sins"] to be merely formerly under Law ["commandments"], though Higher Levels apply, though not so much as for to cause any to stray.
Christian Immersion Baptism is very unusual [for instance once in a lifetime] important for reminding that the Christian opted full repentance [and what that's about, as much as needful to convince again, and] rather of becoming Christian in JESUS' Good Purpose Best For All.
