JESUS Christ's light of enlightenment in the previous Sermon had the multitude of doubters and conspirators repeating His words "Anyone who obeys my teaching will never die!" (http://0www.20m.com/jesusjohn8:52.html), though without yet the better considering of it the great multitude of people continued in the moment but in wrongful confusions as written in
John 8:53 New Living Translation "Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are?" (https://biblehub.com/john/8-53.htm)?

JESUS Christ kept telling the same Truth time and again, making it clear for us in modern times as written below. Also as written in Ellicott's Commentary "The same phrase occurs again in John 5:18; John 10:33; John 19:7" (https://biblehub.com/john/8-53.htm).
JESUS Christ prior to creation and prior to being born in Good Innocent Eternal Wisdom so much Higher Level than any creation(s) (yet see in this Series on Centerline Ascending, the Pillar Of Faith)
was keenly aware that with coming in the census He would have to repeat so much so often, as written at https://biblehub.com/matthew/13.htm first and often again, JESUS Christ's Words need be humbly innocently considered and Faithfully Pondered (ibid. the reason JESUS spoke in parables).
As JESUS Christ said as written in Mark 4:28 "The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens.",
and importantly as JESUS Christ taught as written in Mark 4:27 "Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens" [bold big font was added]: hence the Good Wisdom for to be Faithful.
If not Faithfully "Centerline Ascending" as stated above, then unable for us to become as written above: "prophets"!
Save JESUS Christ the Eternal, has there ever been any typical person that did not yearn to be a Prophet? Merely the above linked "Main Page" currently states [root word of] "Prophet" more than a dozen times.
And in their own words the great mass of people were considering the words of JESUS Christ, including as stated above in John 8:53 "Are you greater than our father Abraham?"?
So the great mass of people were pondering in their hearts whether JESUS created them and Himself [in High Level], and [in next lower level per se] whether JESUS was a Prophet [the Bible proves Many as Righteous Prophets], and [in next lower level per se] whether JESUS was greater than Abraham (https://biblehub.com/genesis/20-7.htm [one of many Prophets]).
So we are to be with His word listening to be Faithful (Main Page "Faith = Hearing x Word") and Broadcasting His Words and Doing His Work in Centerline Ascending Bravely to be a Righteous Prophet, and accordingly in Centerline Ascending to discover the self being unselfish to therefore to be more as JESUS Christ [rather than former self about devious words and extra burdens]. So "Broadcasting" "JESUS Christ UN 5 Pennies Law With System minus mines" (previous Sermon at http://0www.20m.com/jesusjohn8:52.html) is with "Test me" though also the Exceedingly Better [in JESUS Christ Spirit Now Anewly Righteously Prophesying] the Long Range results Will Be Awesome!
JESUS Christ revealed the meanings of parables for His More Faithful Disciples as in Luke 8:15 and 16 New International Version "But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.", and as in a recent Sermon precept on precept "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light." [for the word "persevering", many translations have the word "patience" and it too is of value (https://biblehub.com/luke/8-15.htm)] as Best Provided through JESUS Christ.
