JESUS Christ made it plainly clear to the people in the previous verse ..."when I tell the truth, you just" [toward lower level selfserving interests] "naturally don’t believe me!" (http://0www.20m.com/jesusjohn8:45.html). And then JESUS Christ prompted them to prove His Innocence as JESUS Christ contronted them boldly as written in
John 8:46 New International Version "Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?" (https://biblehub.com/john/8-46.htm).
And "Can any of you prove me guilty" means can any of you people be with "controls" (https://translate.google.com/?sl=el&tl=en&text=%E1%BC%90%CE%BB%CE%AD%CE%B3%CF%87%CE%B5%CE%B9&op=translate) over me [JESUS Christ]. The Angel Righteously Prophecied of His Birth, and the Magi and Shepherds and whole region was aware, and none other fit His Faithful Authority Over the Holy Words as He Preached to the multitudes, and none other in that generation did greater signs, wonders, and Miracles!
John 8:46 Formula "Can any of you prove me guilty of sin?" (see in this Series on negatives) "If I" = "am telling" x "the truth," (positive) "why don’t you believe me?" (see in this Series on negatives).
The previous Sermon spoke of "Righteous Prophet Daniel", and that means [broadcasting, or at least back then] Righteously Doing JESUS Christ's Will Before The Fact (http://0www.20m.com/jesusjohn8:45.html). And in the Sermon before that, for the "angel" to be "innocent and Moral" that "angel" would have had to be Righteously Doing JESUS Christ's Will Before The Fact according to the story, and very possibly many civilizations prior to this civilization ([since Adam] http://0www.20m.com/jesusjohn8:44.html).
There were multitudes of repeated attempts at life forms becoming civilized and continuing Centerline Ascending as JESUS Christ Guides;
like unto many Adams (https://www.angelfire.com/stars/promotions/index.html and https://www.angelfire.com/un/110/HumanTimeline.html) [according to the Bible Adam was born between 4,000 and 10,000 years ago according to some], and there is an old Sermon in this Series on how many times amoebas through so very many attempts did works to form the tree of life forms with [Adam symbolically] not eating the mate nor offspring; though more to the point about "Adams" is there were many branches found in the many evolution ideas such as between mudskippers and us, also so many UFO [JIA] types were making similar to "us" is their images and in other trial and errors ways.
As written with bold font added "In those days, and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the heavenly beings. So we see that there were 2 timelines (see above "Adams", plural), merely in this previous verse.
